Role: Clinical Assistant to the Specialist Orthodontist
Responsibilities:
- Support the Orthodontist in putting on and taking off brackets.
- Handle tasks related to changing aligners, Invisalign, and general ortho technician duties
- Assist with scanning, x rays, and chairside procedures
- Work collaboratively with the Orthodontist/Practice Owner who implements treatment plans and the Associate will implement these
- By providing valuable support, you play a key role in relieving the Orthodontist/Practice Owner of routine tasks, allowing more time for tackling complex cases. The more pressure you can alleviate, the greater opportunity the Practice Owner will have to invest time and support in your professional development
- Utilise general dental knowledge to offer dental health advice and diagnosis
- Work mainly on digital platforms, including dental monitoring
Must be BDS qualified and have minimum 2 years general dental experience.
Working Hours: 3 days a week (Possibly 2 days, excluding Mondays and Fridays)
Hours of Work: 8:45 AM - 5:45 PM
Overtime: Paid
