We are looking ideally for an experienced Dental Receptionist/Front of House Coordinator to work on a full time basis for 6-9 months.  This is a maternity contract and more than likely it will be available for the full  nine months.  If you don't have Reception experience you must come from dental background to be considered for this role.

This Specialist practice located in the City Centre is magnificent.  It is a modern interior designed practice, and as soon as you walk in you will feel the positive vibe.  The people who run the practice are honest, good people and while they work very hard it is still a very relaxed environment.  You will be happy here. 

The practice is very much focused on offering an outstanding service with high levels of patient care. You will be based at Front of House, which is very busy so the most important traits needed for this role, are multitasking and a calm demeanour.  To ensure your success in this role, you will have good organisational and time management ability and possess a positive friendly enthusiastic attitude.  

As  Front Office Receptionist/ Coordinator you will be required to work closely with the Practice Owners on administrative procedures to ensure expeditious, seamless and private service for all patients. We are looking for a person who is efficient, motivated, thorough and caring with a keen eye for detail with interests and /or experience in Prosthodontics and Endodontics (not essential)

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting and greeting patients, scheduling appointments
  • Varied administrative duties
  • An exemplary telephone manner
  • Day to day running’s using Dental Software
  • Patient records maintenance
  • Stock management
  • Management and application of Practice Policies
  • Coordination of the clinical aspects of the practice


Additional Skills expected include:

  • Competency in word processing and spreadsheets with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and use of the internet
  • Excellent Key Board Skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work to deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as work unassisted
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with patients and fellow colleagues
  • Confident in task delegation
  • Pleasant professional manner and presentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication
