Dip for Motor Nuerone

Join us for a charity sea dip in support of Motor Neurone Disease (MND), as we come together to support our colleague, Dr Jon Machell (Joff) a specialist orthodontist from the UK.

Joff was working as an orthodontist in Exeter when he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in October 2025. Since his diagnosis, Jon has chosen to face the disease in an inspiring way - raising funds and awareness through cold‑water dips, and encouraging others to get involved and stand with the MND community.

We were deeply moved by Joff’s story and, to show our support, we’ve organised a charity cold dip in the sea/cold plunge to raise funds for MND Ireland. This event is open to the wider dental community and the orthodontic profession in particular.

The more people who dip, the bigger the impact!!
